Today we announced our partnership with Mark43, a leading cloud-based public safety application provider. We will be integrating 3D location into Mark43’s computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems, which will enable police and fire departments to track personnel and assets with high accuracy, even in high-rise buildings. This capability enhances situational awareness and improves operational efficiency, which can be the deciding factor in keeping first responders safe and ensuring that those in need of help get it quickly.
This short video clip provides a good illustration of what Mark43 does so well, and we are excited to augment their capability with our award-winning 3D location technology. As Scott Crouch, Mark43’s Co-Founder and CEO, states in today’s joint announcement, “we are always aiming to integrate the best possible capabilities into our suite of offerings, and we look forward to working with Polaris Wireless to increase safety and efficiency for our first responders.”
The safety of first responders has always been a leading concern of ours and others in the industry. While progress has been made in creating public safety communications networks, they aren’t yet complete and don’t provide pinpoint 3D location. Polaris Wireless 3D location is available now, and forward-looking partners like Mark43 are joining with us to bring these benefits to their public safety customers today. We welcome them and look forward to a long and productive partnership.
